Dr.Husam Abazid
CEO and Founder
About
Dr. Husam Abazid is an Associate Professor, in the faculty of pharmacy, Applied Science Private University. In 2021, he was awarded Honorary Fellow status at the University of South Wales (USW). Prior to this, Dr. Husam was the long-term Head of department of Biochemistry and Microbiology and worked as Vice Dean at Albaath University from 2009 to 2013. He received his Grodno State Medical University doctorate (PhD) in 2005, for his contribution to drugs and their effects on the brain.
In his professional work, Dr. Husam has collaborated with research groups in Amman, Jordan. He is a leading expert on the epidemiological and biomedical studies drug addiction and has a long-standing interest in working with Research-Orientated Drugs and their effects on the brain. He has more than 20 years teaching experience in Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry and Nutrition to graduate and postgraduate students in various Pharmacy & Dental & Nursing Colleges and Universities. With regards to research, Dr. Husam has published over 30 articles, which include peer-reviewed manuscripts based on original research, abstracts and symposium presentations, reviews, and numerous books.
Alongside his work, Dr Husam also trained in the Addiction Rehabilitation Center care in Damascus from 2008-2013. During this training, he obtained extensive experience in the management of addiction, toxicology, and sepsis at this internationally renowned major addiction centre.

Dr. Rana Abu Farha

Dr. Rana Abu Farha is currently an associate professor in Clinical Pharmacy at Applied Science Private University.
She graduated with a master’s degree in clinical pharmacy and a PhD of pharmacy from the University of Jordan. Her pharmacy experience includes practice in hospital and academic settings.
Dr. Abu Farha’s research interest includes different areas of drug safety such as pharmacovigilance, drug therapy problems, and medications reconciliations. She has more than 150 publications in international journals within these areas.

Dr. Loai Saadah Biography
Dr. Saadah is an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at applied science private university since October of 2021. Dr. Saadah holds a bachelor of science in pharmacy (1999) from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and a master of science (2002) and doctorate in pharmacy (2006) from the University of Iowa – United States of America (USA). Dr. Saadah is also double boarded from board of pharmaceutical specialties – USA for three cycles 2007 to 2021. He brings an experience of almost 30 years of pharmacy education and practice to Pulse Life. Dr. Saadah trained and worked in multiple areas including pharmaceutical industry, marketing, community pharmacies, hospitals, and academia. He established clinical and operational pharmacy services in many institutions. Dr. Saadah has an immense research profile with diverse spectrum of interests. These include pharmacotherapy in specialties of medicine, infectious diseases, pediatrics, neurology, intensive care, cardiovascular, respiratory, psychiatry, oncology, artificial intelligence, and drug discovery. Dr. Saadah is involved in spiritual, psychological, and social healing with a long humanitarian personal experience in these non-pharmacy activities. Dr. Saadah has authored a number of papers, blogs, social media posts on improving health through understanding and implementing Quranic scientific signs and prophetic traditions. He delivered many public speeches on scientific signs in Quran and Sunnah, Arabic classes, and role of Quranic recitation, music, cupping, and other non-conventional treatment modalities in improving health. As he counsels youngsters, students and patients, he is a great motivational and influential speaker and healer.

MSc Ms. Nour Alabbas

Ms. Nour Alabbas is a Country Coordinator for the NGO Chaîne de l’Espoir Luxembourg in Amman, Jordan since October, 2021. MSc Alabbas holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (2018) from Applied Science University and a Master of Pharmaceutical Science (2021). MSc Alabbas also holds a diploma in Therapeutic Nutrition IAO, United States of America (USA).
MSc Alabbas has many experiences and workshops in several fields, such as specializing in prosthetics, Orthosis, and the bionic hand, and holds training from international companies such as Ossur and RSL within the Royal Medical Services. MSc Alabbas has trained in antibiotics fields related to biotechnology, skin and cosmetic care, first aid and cardiac resuscitation, and Molecular Dynamics.
MSc Alabbas has multiple interests in genetic research that vary from bioassay tests on living enzymes and their relationship to cancer, research in DNA and QPCR to drug design using molecular modeling techniques. MSc Alabbas holds nearly six years of experience in pharmaceutical teaching and giving training workshops in the pharmacy field.
MSc Alabbas has extensive experience in the field of working in humanitarian organizations and NGOs since 2014, where she worked with several organizations to help refugees and needy families, including the Islamic Relief Organization, Atlantic humanitarian relief, Jordan Beats, SAMS Organization, The Handicap Organization, La Chaine de L’espori / France until she was appointed in 2021 with Chaîne de l’Espoir Luxembourg.
